The Podpath Roadmapping Workshop is designed for brands, organizations, and creators who want to launch a podcast with intentionality—starting by making the WHY behind the show matter.Together we clarify the why behind the show, define goals, explore the core concept, and shape the format. We map the strategic building blocks that make a podcast successful, including audience definition, content strategy, tone, cadence, branding, distribution, and promotion.By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a clear podcast development roadmap—covering concept, format, and launch planning—so you can move confidently into production.
Most podcasts fail because they start with a microphone instead of an idea. Podpath was built by Nathan Tower, podcast producer and strategist who has helped hundreds of founders, brands, and creators shape meaningful conversations.

Podcast Foundations
Before recording the first episode, it’s important to get clear on WHY the podcast exists and WHO it’s for.In this work we define the purpose of the show and how it fits into your broader brand or organization. Together we clarify the audience, explore the core concept, and shape the positioning of the podcast so it stands apart from everything else in the space. This stage often includes:
uncovering the “why” behind the podcast
defining goals and success metrics for audio and video
understanding the target audience
exploring the concept and positioning of the show
early guest and topic direction
Show Architecture
Once the idea is clear, the next step is designing how the show actually works. This is where we shape the structure of the podcast — the rhythm, pacing, and format that make each episode engaging and consistent. This work may include:
show format and episode structure
segment design and storytelling approach
episode length and release cadence
tone and pacing
sonic and visual identity considerations
Host Development + Coaching
A great podcast depends on the host’s ability to guide a conversation. Most hosts never receive thoughtful feedback on how they interview, listen, or follow an interesting thread during a conversation. In these sessions we focus on:
interview technique
question development
conversational flow
listening and follow-up
voiceover (VO)
sounding natural and confident on the mic
Podcast Feedback Sessions
Sometimes the most helpful thing is a thoughtful outside perspective. In a feedback session we review a recent episode or the direction of the show and identify practical ways to improve it.This can include:
interview and hosting style
episode structure and pacing
packaging and artwork
audience connection and engagement
overall direction of the podcast
show refresh / revamp
